Ms Smita Ramkumar had her post graduate degree in Microbiology [2019] from Department of Biosciences, Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat, Gujarat. She had research and academic experience at Food Technology Division, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre [BARC], Trombay, CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute [CFTRI], Mysore in the value chain of nutraceuticals and Department of Biosciences, VNSGU, Surat respectively. She had published papers in scientific journals of repute and possess design registration. At NIF, Ms Smita look into identification of technologies which are promising in veterinary and human health ailments. She undertakes prior art search in firming up potential practices and support the value chain.
