Dr. Poonam Singh completed her M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi in 2014, and Doctoral degree from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani, Pilani Campus in 2023. She has qualified for various national-level fellowships including CSIR-UGC JRF (Life Sciences), UGC-NET (Environmental Sciences), ASRB-NET (Agricultural Biotechnology), DBT-JRF, and JNU Combined Biotechnology Entrance Examination. Her Ph.D. is focused on the development of aptamer-based biosensor for the detection of pesticide. Alongside her research, she was also involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in the Department of Biological Sciences at BITS Pilani. She has published several research articles. After completing her Ph.D., Dr. Poonam joined the National Innovation Foundation as a Research Associate where she is engaged in research and innovation.
