This is a high yielding variety with an average yield of 2000-2500kg of dry weight of cardamom in a year per hectare. The variety registers 25% dry recovery and shows tolerance to thrips, stem borer, root grub and capsule rot. The panicles are long (130-147 cm), capsules are of ovoid in shape and present in more numbers per panicle. The variety exhibits early flowering than the parent plant and a longer cultivation period than the other varieties.
