There are no tools available for levelling wetland for paddy farming for farmers with small land holding and they generally have to use bullocks with a leveller attached to do the same. With bullocks becoming scarce and tractors not affordable, farmers have to face a lot of problems.

Sivasoorya has developed a solar operated device for the purpose, which can cover an area from half an acre to five acres. Activities related to pre-paddy plantation and pre-cotton seed plantation in dry land can also be undertaken using other attachments designed for the purpose.
