Tamper proof locking device:

This unique innovation can have useful applications, but more about that later, first about the innovation. The Destructive Locking Device (DLD) was invented by Mr. N Krishna murthy from Bangalore. The device has a locking arrangement such that once operated cannot be unlocked by another means other than destroying it. Any attempt to tamper with it will also be known. A destructible locking device with a DLD male and DLD female comprising of a locking rib, a spring system and culminating in a fuse point are used in this lock. The DLD male and the DLD female are made to press fit accurately so that after the lock is operated, there will be no dislocation.
In cases of electricity meters, gas cylinders, flow measurement meters, products on warranty, sealing of insurance parcels or ballot boxes this device could prove extremely useful. Mr. Krishna murthy also believes it can be used to make disposable syringes that will ‘actually be disposable’ thus preventing mischievous elements recycling them and in turn creating a much safer and healthier environment for patients
