The normal signal- The signal lights will be set by the traffic police to glow at fixed intervals. Our Modified Signal- Now, we have modified the same to auto set the timing interval based on the traffic volume .The principle behind this is to make use of the increased weights due to additional traffic triggering a sensor. In our schematic model we have made use of weights (instead of vehicles) to trigger the switches (instead of sensor in the road signal.)
