Dr. Vidisha Kandpal holds an M.Sc. in Botany from G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, and a Ph.D. from the Forest Research Institute, Dehradun. She has qualified GATE in Life Sciences and UGC NET in Environmental Sciences. Her doctoral research focused on the study of wood trait variations in Poplar clones for tree improvement programs. She has experience of teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students and has previously worked as a lecturer in Environmental Studies. She is currently working as a Senior Fellow in the Department of VARD Agriculture & IPM at the National Innovation Foundation-India.
