Kaangri is the earthen pot filled with burning charcoal and held by its handle under the pheran, a long, loose woollen garment people in the Valley wear. This is modified/improved kaangri where it remains in an upright position even if tilted or inverted. It consists of hemispherical wooden outer wall made into the shape & design of traditional kaangri. It has an inner hollow hemispherical pot of terracotta for burning embers of wood. Asim wants to become a scientist.
