Dr. Mohd Arshad Siddiqui completed his M.Phil-Ph.D. in Environment and Sustainable Development from the Central University of Gujarat. He did his Post Graduation (M.Sc.in Environmental Science) from Babasaheb Bheemrao Ambedkar University (A central University), Lucknow. He completed his graduation (B.Sc. in Zoology, Botany and Chemistry) from JNPG college (KKC college), University of Lucknow. After Ph.D. also worked as a Project Associate-I in a SERB funded project at School of Environment and Sustainable Development, Central University of Gujarat. His research interest areas are Bioremediation of plastic waste, Municipal solid organic waste management, Vermitechnology, Organic farming and Phytomonitoring of atmospheric heavy metals. He has a thorough knowledge about lab protocols and instruments like UV-Spectrophotometer, AAS, ICP and FTIR etc. He published a number of research papers, review papers and book chapters in different national, internationals journals and in different books. He presented a number of papers in different national and international conferences, seminars and symposiums.
